Babbette - Louisiana - Mardi Gras

Yay! I finally got my first doll repaint video online at Arlineology on YouTube! I am so excited to get this project off the ground. This doll is the first installment in my Dolls as U.S. States and Territories series. Since this project began during the Mardi Gras season, I thought it was only fitting to start with the state of Louisiana and their Mardi Gras festivals. Her name is Babbette and she will be wearing a white satin Marie Antoinette style dress with gold and white trim. She will also be wearing a white "pouf" style wig, gold earrings and gold shoes, and carrying strings of Mardi Gras beads in the official colors of Mardi Gras. Babbette's parade mask was made by my friend Nancy Jean White who makes and sells gorgeous artist masks throughout the year that are sold in a New Orleans shop and kiosk. I asked her if she could design something for me to fit my 11.5-inch fashion dolls and American Girl dolls and she most definitely did not disappoint. Thank you, Nancy, for your mini-masterpiece that really makes this doll so incredible. (It's even felt-lined so it won't scratch the finish on the face.) Please watch my video so I can build my YouTube page and if you wouldn't mind, please like, comment and subscribe. This will help me get my channel going and listed in the suggested videos area for more exposure. If you know of anyone interested in this kind of art, sharing the video would also be a great boost for my pages on Facebook and YouTube. Thank you so much!
